Finally, ABC will finish off its former Wednesday lineup at 10 p.m. on summer Saturdays, airing remaining episodes of "Pushing Daisies," "Eli Stone" and "Dirty Sexy Money." "Daisies" returns to the schedule May 30-June 13, "Stone" from June 20-July 11 and "Money" from July 18-Aug. 8.
I also found out in the news this morning that my former boss, who was pretty useless and a bit of a coke fiend, has been promoted to head of a large media company. That really grinds my gears.

Jane,
if your coke addicted boss has become a tv exec, well, that would certainly explain the cancellation of Pushing Daisies, and a few other decent shows.
What are we, the people who might actually use a bit more than half of our brain, supposed to do? If there ARE still Nielsen families controlling the ratings(seems outdated, but then, who knows with the drooling idiots programming network tv).. are they actually keeping midget minded shows like 'According to Jim' (and a bunch of others) on the air?
I was so hoping that either one of the high end cable stations would take on PD, as they obviously do not keep shows on based on the same rating system, since not NEARLY as many folks have or can afford the extra cable channels.
For me, I can't right now, but for Pushing Daisies I would have found the money and paid for HBO, Starz, Showtime, or whatever cable channel would have picked it up.
Their picking up some of the better cancelled shows, would get a whole new audience to buy premium channels - and perhaps get better audiences for other shows they have.
I am convinced that a lot of TV execs today are either stupid, on drugs or both.
