Somehow The Wire's David Simon manages to be incredibly interesting in the face of this cheesy interview by ex-Kenickie popster, Lauren Laverne. I especially like his comments around the 3:15 mark.

You're way too forgiving of this interview (although I suppose linking to it allows us to draw our own conclusions - but still...) the producers of Culture Show need spanking. The Newsnight Review discussion was so much better but they didn't have the I/V.
